Escrow Officer

Join our Title & Escrow team! We are fast-paced office looking for a detail-oriented individual to perform administrative tasks as an escrow officer that assists our clients buying and selling properties. In this role, your responsibilities would include but would not be limited to:

  • Reviewing Listing and Purchase agreements for each new file and update file with all pertinent information and fees.
  • Send Welcome letters to agents and customers with all important file information.
  • Order necessary inspections for each transaction.
  • Order documents that are required to clear title and convey the title properly.
  • Confer with buyers, sellers, agents, attorneys and lenders on a daily basis.
  • Enter all necessary fees and balance each transaction.
  • Hold and transfer funds for each transaction.
  • Process and prepare final documents for all parties in each transaction.
  • Present final closing documents with explanation of each document to both buyers and sellers of each transaction.
 
Our ideal candidate has the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, can change direction quickly, is a team player, has high attention to detail, is a self-motivator and love to challenge themselves in an engaging environment! Experience in the title & escrow industry is not required but would be exceptional. A background in related industries such as banking, real estate or reviewing legal documents is also not required but would help you catch on quickly!
This is an in-office position of 40 hours per week. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Other requirements include:
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Excellent decision-making skills
  • Basic computer/office knowledge
  • Ability to provide top-notch customer service
  • Has exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Advanced clerical knowledge
