Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting & Admin Assistant located in Fremont, NE. The Accounting & Admin Assistant will be responsible for supporting our Finance, HR, and Leadership teams.
Responsibilities include:
· Accounts Payable (A/P)
· Bank and account reconciliations
· Payroll processing
· Month-end closing and checklists
· Responding to staff, vendor, and other inquiries as needed
· HR office support (employee files, benefits paperwork, onboarding assistance)
· Support Fundraising with mailings, fundraising campaigns.
· General office administration (ordering supplies, maintaining records, supporting staff requests)
· Internal and external meeting preparation, support and record-keeping
Qualifications:
· Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience required
· Knowledge of payroll processes and month-end closing preferred
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
· Comfort working with staff, vendors, and community members
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
Reports to:
· CFO on a daily basis
· Leadership team as needed
Schedule:
· Full-time, Monday-Friday, daytime hours
Compensation:
· $20-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Full benefits included.
